The Shwe Inwa Family B&B is located along Lonton’s main road close to the police station. The Bed and Breakfast was opened in late 2017 by the 3 Inwa sisters who also grew up in the house. There are 4 rooms spreading across the lower level of the traditional Shan Ni building, while the sisters live in their private rooms upstairs. All rooms are similarly equipped with a modern Myanmar double bed, a small table, and coat hooks. The spacious common room with its traditional furniture invites the guests to rest and meet other travellers. The shared bathroom in the back of the house is kept simple with a local toilet and bucket shower. Candles are supplied in each room to bridge possible blackouts and the associated restaurant provides the guests with a breakfast included in the price.
